Watkins Mill Football 2019

Greetings!

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and making unforgettable memories with your family and friends.  Welcome new team members and family! Welcome back to returning team members!!!

My name is Helen and I am going to be helping out the Coaches as I did last year.  We had a great season last year and I am confident that we will carry on the tradition and have an even better season this year.    It’s almost that time of year so there are a few things to go over before we dive into the new season.  We are excited to get things started and have lots of things to do to prepare for the season.  Please read below and let me know if you have any questions.

  • AUGUST 10TH SATURDAY-(Time to be determined) JV AND Varsity family and recent graduates.  Cunningham Falls Family Cookout Save the date!!!  More details coming soon, please look out for another email from me.  If you haven’t had the chance to get to the beach this summer, let’s get together and let loose with family, fun, food, and sun!!  Coach Brown wants EVERYONE to attend.
  • AUGUST 12TH MONDAY 10 AM VARSITY- Equipment pick up.
  • AUGUST 13TH TUESDAY 10 AM JV-Equipment pick up.
  • AUGUST 14TH WEDNESDAY 7:30 AM- 3:00 PM JV & VARSITY- Camp starts!!!! Camp will be Mondays thru Saturday every day promptly.  Players will be responsible for purchasing their own girdle and mouthpiece.  Parents, please make sure they get a good night sleep the night before and send them with a packed lunch and plenty of fluids.  It is important to stay hydrated and healthy while they are outside in this heat.

During the season I will be trying to reach out to local businesses to either donate money or food for pregame dinners like last year.  I will need as much help as possible from everyone and anyone.  I know that time and money is limited (especially raising growing teenage boys) but anything you can contribute will help.  I am reaching out to the parents or family members to donate $20 we can get things going.  We want to keep the boys engaged and motivated and what better way than to feed them?

Well, I think that is it for now.  You will be hearing a lot more from me.  I know it’s a lot but if you have any questions or concerns, I am always available by phone or email.   I will do my best to answer any questions or concerns and if I don’t know the answer I will find out.  My cell is 240-805-2000 and my email is tyneki3@gmail.com-  Lock it in.

GO WOLVERINES!!!!
