Wolverines News · Mulch Madness Fundraiser Update 3/20/20


Dear Watkins Mill High School community,

 

Due to the unexpected school closure announced on 3/12/20 surrounding the COVID-19 virus, school and booster club leadership managed to postpone the fundraiser until 4/18/20 after contacting the mulch vendor.  However, after considering available options and following the recent guidance by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on community gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Mulch Madness Fundraiser Mulch Sale.

 

These are unprecedented times given the coronavirus pandemic.  We must be mindful and protect the health of everyone potentially involved. Individuals who have already supported our fundraiser by making mulch purchases, we thank you for your continued support. You can expect a full refund in the coming weeks.  Thank you to the WMHS coaching staff, players, and the many volunteers who cleared their schedule to participate in this event.
