Wolverines News · Mr. Montazeri-Jouybari hired as the Varsity Girls Soccer Coach

The Watkins Mill Athletic Department is extremely pleased to announce the hiring of, Mr. Masoud Montazeri-Jouybari, as the new coach for our Girls Varsity Soccer team. Coach Montazeri-Jouybari has written a few words to share with you about his excitement for joining the Wolverine Athletic Family:

“I am honored to introduce myself as the Head Coach of the Varsity Girls Soccer team. It has been a dream of mine to step into the position of leading a high school soccer program since four years ago, when my life took a turn from the route of medical school to pursuing a career in coaching soccer and sport psychology. Since then I have been working as a soccer coach for various ages and levels, including being the head coach of the U16 boys’ travel team at Aspen Hill Soccer Club, and assisting the boys’ varsity team at Bishop McNamara High School. Currently, I am a second year/phase graduate student in sport psychology at John F. Kennedy University, and I look forward to using my academic and personal experiences for creating a program that is first and foremost designed to empower each individual student-athlete with skills that not only will they use on and around the soccer field, but also as they move forward through each phase of life. Everything we do will be based on 4 simple principles of: 1. Sportsmanship, 2. Unity, 3. Effort, 4. Willingness to learn and grow. I am looking forward to be a part of this team and share this journey with everyone who will be involved.”

Welcome, Coach Montazeri-Jouybari to the Watkins Mill Athletic Family!
