At the tri-meet this past weekend, the girls finished in 3rd behind Springbrook & Paint Branch. Some of the highlights included the 200 freestyle with Diana Yanes out-touching a Springbrook girls for 1st place. In 200 IM, Rosalind Dominguez stepped up to swim last minute in the event and Shelby Aguilar dropped time in the race. In 100 butterfly, Marley had a last minute change of events with a close race to compete solo for the Wolverines. In the 200 free relay consisting of Shelby Aguilar, Cecelia Rodriguez, Alyssa Holt, and Diana Yanes, the girls got 2nd place. In the 100 breast, Diana Yanes dropped 4 seconds in the event and finished first with a close swim! Miyah Hayes & Vivian Ingram competed in the dive portion of the meet, scoring points for the Wolverines! Vivian Ingram also was the only swimmer to represent WM in the 500 free.

On the boys’ side, Bryant Olivia & Aiden Pettit competed for the diving portion of the meet for Watkins Mill. Bryant Olivia also dropped time in the 200 freestyle. In 200 IM, Deacon Buchanan dropped more time in his new event and had a close race for 2nd. Suijal Dsa dropped close to 15 seconds in the event as well! In the 50 free, Aiden Pettit dropped 2 seconds in his swim and in the 100 fly, Dane Pullen & Griffen MacLaren both dropped the same amount of time!

The Wolverines compete against Seneca Valley and Northwood this coming Saturday night at Olney Swim Center!
